== Abilities ==
=== Magic ===
It fights with the mage AI: it closes to melee range but casts between swings. Its Magery is 99.1–100.0 and its Evaluating Intelligence 90.1–100.0.
* '''Damage spells:''' Magic Arrow, Harm, Fireball, Lightning, Mind Blast, Energy Bolt, Explosion and Flame Strike.
* '''Other spells:''' about 1 cast in 8 is Poison (only if you aren't poisoned already). It may also Bless itself, curse you (Weaken, Clumsy, Feeblemind or Curse), drain your mana (Mana Drain or Mana Vampire) or Paralyze you.
* '''Healing:''' it cures itself when poisoned, and sometimes heals itself (Greater Heal when badly hurt), more often the higher its Magery.
* '''Dispel:''' with 498+ Intelligence it can cast Dispel on your summoned creatures (more reliably the higher its Magery).

=== Life drain ===
When it hits or is hit in melee there's a '''10%''' chance it drains everyone within 2 tiles: each loses '''10–40 hit points''' and it heals by the same amount. Victims see ''"You feel the life drain out of you!"''

== Loot ==
Every succubus carries:
* '''Gold:''' about 804–1,300 in total (from its "Filthy Rich" ×2 loot)
* '''2 magic scrolls''' from circles 4–7. With Necromancy enabled on New Bradford, necromancy scrolls can show up too.

It may also carry:
* A '''magic weapon, armor piece or shield''' (up to 8 chances, from about 33% down to 5% each)
* A '''musical instrument''' (about 4% or less)
* A '''level 5 treasure map''' (1% chance)

=== Carving ===
Use a blade on the corpse to get:
* '''1 raw ribs'''

== Location ==
* '''Champion spawn:''' it is a level 4 creature of the ''Abyss'' champion spawn (champion: [[Bestiary/Semidar|Semidar]]), so it appears at the fixed ''Abyss'' altar at 5815, 1352, and any of the 11 Lost Lands altars that rolls ''Abyss''. Each one killed during a spawn gives the killer Valor and champion-title progress.
''Champion spawns only exist if the staff have generated them (with the staff command
[GenChamps
); the code doesn't say whether that's been done on New Bradford.''

== Tips ==
* Stay out of 2-tile range of her when you can; her life drain hits everyone near her and heals her.
* Her Magery of 99–100 means she casts the strongest damage spells, including Flamestrike.
