The '''Frost Ooze''' is a small, weak blob of icy slime. It's a nuisance rather than a threat, but it carries one or two gems.

== Overview ==
* '''In-game name:''' ''a frost ooze''
* '''Corpse:''' ''a frost ooze corpse''
* '''Behavior:''' it attacks the nearest target it sees and fights in melee.
* '''Movement:''' it is one of the slower creatures in the game (slow speed), so you can outrun it.

== Loot ==
Every frost ooze carries:
* '''1–2 random gems''' (amber, amethyst, citrine, diamond, emerald, ruby, sapphire, star sapphire or tourmaline)

=== Carving ===
There's nothing to carve from its corpse.

== Tips ==
* It has fewer than 20 hit points and hits for 3–9, so even new characters can kill it.
* It has no special abilities: no poison, no acid, no splitting.
* Its loot is just 1–2 gems, with no gold.
