The Vorpal Bunny is a harmless-looking rabbit with 2,000 hit points, 2,000 Dexterity and a rich treasure. It barely hurts you (1 damage a hit), but it disappears back into its burrow 3 minutes after it appears, so you have to kill it fast.

Special behaviors

• Escapes after 3 minutes. Three minutes after it spawns, it digs a mysterious rabbit hole where it stands, freezes, says a farewell line, and vanishes 5 seconds later. The hole lasts 40 seconds. If you haven't killed it by then, its loot is gone.

Every vorpal bunny carries:

• Gold: about 922–1,350 in total (from its "Filthy Rich" and "Rich" ×2 loot)
• 5–10 carrots
• a statue

It may also carry:

• A magic weapon, armor piece or shield (up to 10 chances, from about 33% down to 1% each)
• A musical instrument (about 4% or less)
• brightly colored eggs (20%)

Carving

Use a blade on the corpse to get:

• 1 raw ribs
• 1 hides

Tips

• Bring friends and big damage: 2,000 hit points in under 3 minutes is about 11 damage per second.
• It can't hurt you, so ignore healing and attack nonstop.
• It can't be discorded.
• Its "Filthy Rich" and two "Rich" packs make it one of the best-paying kills if you manage it.
